Trying to show love to my mum.

Upon hearing that my mum is taking a second job today (29th july 2008) i felt suspicious.

i knew something was wrong, but couldn't find out more from her due to my lack of moral values.

but just now when she gotten home, probably 9pm, i guessed that she could be hungry by then.

although she ate on left-overs for the day, i still feel guilty as there were only vegetables on her dinner plate.

before she ate her dinner, she took a bath, and during that, i cooked 2 packs of Maggi mee, hoping that she'll take a share.

but too my lack of knowledge, shes on a religious vegetarian diet today.

well, i had to eat both the pack of noodles otherwise it will get spoiled.

I guess my mum is a great mum, although i've stopped calling her mum, nor my dad papa, due to that i want to remind them all the time, that i am still their son, and needs some level of respect from them too.

i've currently a freelance guitar instructor and i'm doing quite well.

i guess part of my income should go to my mum, it shocked me when she told me my month's bill reached 127dollars this time.

well, i gotta pay for it somehow.

The day before the Gala.

I was shocked at saturday night that on the upcoming monday would be the gala.

i hooked up with Eugene cause his a hooker. get it? no?

The bus was damn empty, not that we want to put our legs on the seats, but the gap between each seat is just too small, our legs are long!

and by the way, we went Queensway shopping center as i heard from a few malay friends that the shops there no bad, got alot shirts. and so we went there.

and yes, i bought my hoodie there, and a hat too, total cost of 65+46bucks.

i've spent 110 on clothes there.
hope my mum doesn't know how to read blogs, haha!

Theres this nike thing going on, should i just join and finish it? even though i might be last.


however Eugene didn't buy anything there though, cause he was sure that Peninsular sure have savings.

as we went out, this guy was sleeping.


once we're there, yes, theres cheap hoodies, cheap till its quality is lousy, or printing sucks. design sucks.

till we went up to the second floor, theres this Chronic shop, which i always buy jeans from there cause of the good cutting and design and cheap price for good quality jeans.

when you buy ex, you're only buying the brand, there are same jeans outside which cost cheaper.

at least Eugene got a similar hoodie there, and its way cheaper, but no printing.

and we bought Singapore flag to print on our hoodie, watch out for it!

i promise you i won't ever eat at BotakJones again, the Cajun chicken is awfully dry for mine.

i asked Shawn to order for me, as the crew might recognise me.


we were jamming at Ben & Alpy's place, then it was late, and we're hungry, shawn took my bike and i took the bus, and met at Serangoon 's Botak outlet.

to my suprise, bike took 22mins to reach from Jalan Kayu to Serangoon, and bus took a long 34mins.

i gave the voucher away to Eugene to eat at Botakjones since he likes it.

No more botak for me ever....just cause theres really lots of people queueing up doesn't mean the standard should be lowered or food be cooked in bulk..

i'm sure the chicken was cooked in bulk. or whatever method thats called.

Austin Man Offers $1 Billion For Cancer Cure

Mike Dewey has a plan to eliminate breast cancer. He's offering $1 billion to the person who discovers the cure.

Never mind that the 48-year-old Austin consultant has nothing close to that much money. Dewey says he'll come up with the cash.

He's motivated by his wife's battle with breast cancer and the knowledge that his daughters are at increased risk for the disease.

Dewey says he's raised about $22 million in pledges and about $90,000 in actual donations through his nonprofit foundation. He's unfazed by the fact that he's still quite a bit short of $1 billion and some experts are critical of his idea. He's certain the money will roll in if there's a cure.

Arthur Caplan is the chairman of the department of medical ethics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He says Dewey's plan seems naive.

But Dewey isn't alone in feeling some impatience with the pace of research. Dr. David Euhus is a surgical oncologist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He says he's noticed that those making grants are willing to take bolder steps because they're "getting a little frustrated" by the slow pace of traditional research.

Dewey says some people think his idea is wacky, but that others are intrigued.

Australian businessman and investor Toby Davidson said he has pledged $1 million to the foundation after meeting Dewey last year. He says he hopes to be writing that check one day.

Dewey's wife, Barbara, has been cancer-free since surgery following her diagnosis in 2000, six years before Dewey founded his nonprofit Dewey Foundation.

the movie, is good this time round, i'm saying really, though lots of CGI( Computer generated images) are still used, this time the effects are better and makes more sense than Ahlong Pte LTD which was a bad movie.

this time its seriously good.(Eugene: i hate it)
its worth a watch.

At a glance through, it tells about 3 brothers, who have problems.

1st - a selfish brother- Plays properties, obeys selfish wife, have hundreds of thousands to a few millions, refuses to confess that he have lots of money.
2nd - a too high esteemed man, doesn't allow himself to plan before buying too much stock in business, which made him end up with nothing.
3rd - a loving and responsible man, who took care of his dying mum, but was too funny to act.

but overall, yes i love the film. not bad this time.

THE ENDING WAS THAT THE MUM WAS DYING AND STELLA(1st guy's daughter) WAS DYING TOO FROM A CAR ACCIDENT BUT HOSPITAL HAVE NOT ENOUGH BLOOD FOR TWO OF THEM SO GRANNY SACRIFICED HERSELF FOR STELLA
