This blog post is about a type of lens, called Crizal, you can read more about it in detail here
You may wonder, what's so special about this lens, and you'll probably be wondering how in the world it's possible, even a genius like me do not know.
It has Glare reduction, Smudge resistance, Scratch resistance, Dust repellence and Water Repellence properties.
So over a few days, I decided to experiment on all my spectacles, with my typical clumsy habits of throwing my spectacles on the table, on my bed, with handling spectacles with my fingers on the lens and cleaning lens with my shirt instead of the polishing clothe, these are the results.
This is my round spectacles, for studying, at the end of a day's use.
This is my act-cool wood-look spectacles at the end of the day.
This is my new Crizal spectacles at the end of the day.
Note how much difference there is?
To abuse the spectacles even further, I laid them on the sink for some water experiment.
dropping some water droplets on the lenses .
This is the round spectacle at flat angle. Aka 180degrees
This is it when raised to viewing angle.

At raised angle.
This is Crizal at a flat angle.
This is Crizal when raised, the water droplets simply fall and roll off.
Handsome young single man.
