HTC Sensation review part 2

Continued from here

So far, my first 24hours with the HTC Sensation, my experience had been pretty good with it, I took a stroll around my neighborhood, only with the phone, to check out what photos, and it's video capabilities I can capture with it.

A less-than-average lightings.

A video test with the HTC Sensation, Overall, amazing how much this phone can do, the only issue I have is that there is no manual exposure settings available, it would be perfect if it has. Shot in 1080p Full HD, handheld.

I'm really excited about this HTC Sensation even till now, some people have asked me common questions like how much would it cost.

I've gotten mine from Starhub, at $398, with the 3G Smartsurf 100 contract plan. comes with a 12Gb data bundle. I've been using it extensively for the past 24hours and I've managed to only used 0.1Gb a day, which is 100mb, usage mainly on

  1. Whatsapp messaging(SMS replacement, sends messages across data network to your contacts), I've sent/received approximately 600 messages.
  2. Tweekdeck, advance-twitter API client.
  3. Facebook as well as the Android Market.
While laying on the couch the entire day, I've tested out how long it would take for me to drain the battery, I clocked approximately 6hours, while messaging, twittering, Facebooking, running intense-graphic apps and uploading dozens of photos up before the battery went dead. 6hours of continuous usage with a data connection, that's pretty long.

While fooling around with it, I've discovered one of HTC's services, HTC Sense. It allows you to track where your phone has been via GPS, pin-pointing out the phone's exact location. If you've lost your HTC phone somewhere in the house, you can also forcefully make it ring(even in silent mode), it'll only stop ringing when you have found it.

Another quality service to make sure spouses behave themselves and not loiter around. ;)
