Just like it's cousin, the Crizal lenses, the Optifog lenses is smudge-resistant, scratch-resistant, dust-resistant, glare-reduced and has water-repelling properties.

After some intentional rubbing, no smudges at all.

On the left, Optifog lenses, on the right with normal spectacles right after having a hot shower.

After some 10minutes of cardio, you can see the mirror fogging up as I approached, my spectacle lenses still clean, except for some drops of sweat of course.

Right after gym, I wore my pair of Optifog spectacles and showered, then proceeded to drying myself off with the hairdryer and fan, no smudges, and it seems like the hot shower water had helped me rinsed off my sweats!

Ok, time for something risky!
I left my specs inside a supermarket's ice cream fridge as I shopped, I really wanted to see how cold it withstand before fogging.

At ice-cream cold temperatures, NO FOG, completely clean lens.

Of course, just like any other spectacles, it will get dirty over time, here's a picture of how it looks after 4days without any polishing, with some of my dried sweats at the corners, I must say, it's a really really high-performance pair of lenses!

The lens without it's Activator, is simply another pair of awesome Crizal lenses(Read about my review on Crizal lenses here).
Unlike any other brands which feature anti-fog as well, the Optifog activator lasts days and weeks, even after wearing it through a hot shower, the anti-fogging feature still works!
I would say, the Optifog lens has really made my life more convenient, if you were to observe people alighting from buses and trains with strong air-conditioning, you'll notice people who wears spectacles always need to wipe of fogs off their lenses, I no longer do that.

Some of my friends have even noticed that my spectacles no longer fog, Jasmine who took this photo said "不习惯看你眼镜不会蒙", meaning, not used to seeing me without foggy spectacles. Here I am eating a bowl of hot curry noodles at a very warm hawker centre, no fog.

Do visit your nearest optician and ask them about Crizal and Optifog lenses from Essilor.
And here's a funny video from the Optifog people.
